- Akiyoshidai Karst Observation Deck
- This observation deck offers a whole panoramic view of Japan’s largest karst landscape. A new tourism center, the “Karstar” at Mine Akiyoshidai Geo Park, has opened next to Akiyoshidai Observation Deck. It offers tourist information, provides advisories, and includes a free rest space and café in its role as Geo Park’s visitor center.

- Suijin Park
- This nature park, located at Kaminishidera, Ofukucho, Mine in the eastern foothills of Mt. Gambi, features a beautiful landscape with a mountain trail and stream alongside it. The “Takibiraki” event takes place here on the first Sunday of July each year. Visitors can enjoy nagashi somen in summer and colorful leaves in fall.

- Beppubenten Pond
- The clear, blue spring water of Beppubenten Pond is mysteriously beautiful. This highly-transparent spring water, 14°C in temperature, has been selected as one of Japan’s top 100 springs. Visitors can enjoy trout cuisine and trout fishing.

- Mito Roadside Station
- Next to Mito Roadside Station is Kasen Park, where ducks swim leisurely in the water. This is a good place to get local specialty items, such as Mito burdock root and burdock root products. The ice cream made from local Mine products, such as summer oranges, chestnuts, and persimmons, is popular.
